Yes, you can buy inexpensive bands on Amazon, but after having enough of them break it make sense to buy bands that will last for years. (Not to mention it can be dangerous when they snap).
We are offering Rubberbanditz bands because they are made with a continuous layering process to prevent breakage. If you take good care of them (don't leave them in the sun, don’t stretch them more than 2.5 times their original length, and don’t let them come in contact with rough surfaces (i.e. asphalt, sharp posts, children with scissors)) they should last a lifetime.
Each band can stretch up to 2 1/2 times the original length, creating a wide range of tension levels and more than one band can be used at once to increase tension.

I like the product quite a lot and it seems like great quality so far. However, I could have purchased for much less directly. I was disappointed when I realized how much I over paid.
The bands are too short to do squats. I am 5'7" tall. They are also too short to do a shoulder press.
I like these bands, they are stiffer and appear more robust than other brands. For example, curls are done with the medium bands and other brands would require using the high resistance bands.
I am 5 months post partum from having twins after a really tough pregnancy (3 months of physical therapy) and have never done resistance bands or real weight lifting. The workouts are challenging but very doable. My only request would be for the workouts to be spoken while instruction.
